In a world where breaking barriers and embracing change are essential for growth, Fennie Wang, a professional in law and finance, emerges as a beacon of inspiration. Her revitalizing motto towards risk-taking and engaging in educational experiences illustrates the importance of trying for personal development and professional improvement.
Fennie’s journey began with a passion for law. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley, after focusing on Business Administration and Legal Studies. Although she was interested in finance as well, she eventually pursued a higher education in law at the Columbia Law School.
Although the beginning years of her legal career did not engage with finance, she notes that she is still thankful for the professional experience and in-field learning she gained. For the past few years, Fennie has diverted from a traditional path in law, to a multi-faceted role at a point of what she describes as “the nexus of law, technology and finance.” Fennie currently works in a combination of fields, from law, to cryptocurrency, to technology and finance. She enjoys both the newfound creativity and work environment of her career. Her current profession takes her to New York, where she works for the New York State Attorney General.
From her experience in multiple fields, Fennie relates that utilizing the power to take risks is crucial to success. She believes in approaching problems with an open mind, and to not allow metaphysical mental barriers impede her journey towards achieving her goals. Fennie emphasizes that opening the mind up to new possibilities is a great way to approach life. Fear or dread should not hold one back from attempting to accomplish anything. Fennie believes that this is one of the most important lessons that she has learned in her life. She is grateful for the experiences that she has gone through as a result of taking risks.
